There is NO federal database of missing and murdered indigenous women. Indigenous women are killed and go missing at staggeringly higher rates than any other ethnicity in the United States, and no one outside of the tribes themselves keep track. Tribes and tribal police hardly ever get any meaningful support from federal agencies in pursuing these cases, and they almost never make local headlines, let alone national.
Support Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women awareness.
